The core of what we do.
The web is an interesting place. There are lots of companies operating in this industry, some big, and some small, and it can be a completely daunting place for people who are looking to get online for the first time. But you know what, that's okay. We'll help you, talk you through it, and work out what you're looking for.
As above, all projects are quoted individually, due to complexity and requirement, but to give you some idea a static brochure website (up to eight pages) would cost you around £799. For this, we'll also host it for a year as well, set you up with email addresses, and work with you to make sure it all works just perfectly. Crucially we also don't charge for minor updates, so if you phone us and say 'can you change my phone number', or 'can you change the text of this page for me' then we'll do that for free - the chances are it'll only take five minutes.
Of course, it may be that you are starting completely from scratch, and you need a brand created and THEN you need a website to support this. And that's fine; take a look at our branding projects to get an idea of this. If you want to do both at once, then we normally discount the branding bit - obvioulsy we don't do it for free, 'cos the cats need feeding (see above). But whatever happens, we'll work with you from start to finish to get the job done.
To give you some further details about the way we work, we'll meet with you to discuss what you're looking for, what the site is to achieve, and give you an idea of how we can help. When it comes to the design phase, we'll discuss with you again what you like, what you don't like, and get a good idea of what you're looking for. It might be that you don't have any idea, and that's fine - we'll present and discuss some options. That said, in the early phase it vital that we're going in the right direction, so will check in to make sure you're happy. To get this right, we'll present some drafts, and a site map of how the site will be navigated. We'll also need from you of course the key messages, and words that you'd like to present.
And then we'll build it. Something beautiful.
We'll test, and test again, making sure it works with phones and iPads and screens of different sizes. And then we'll launch.
But it doesn't end there - when it's live we'll keep checking everything is working, and tweak to your hearts content. Because for us, it's our website as much as it is yours.
Print design is a funny thing.
Why? Well, simply put it's because pretty much everyone knows how to use Microsoft Word, Powerpoint, and other software packages. We've all done it; knocked together a poster or a flyer and printed it out and stuck it up, hoped for the best, and just said "Ah, well, that'll do"...
But why not do it properly?
In many cases we've seen investment in an event, or the putting together of a report, but a lack of investment into advertising or presenting this professionaly. And what they end up with is something that lets the whole thing down overall.
We've designed posters, flyers, leaflets, brochures, business cards, charity communications, and company reports. We know what looks good, and what doesn't, and work in high resolution 300dpi print ready CMYK (don't panic if you don't know what this means, but trust us it's what you need). Every project is different of course, however as a guide a two sided flyer would normally cost somewhere in the region of £80 - £95. A poster would be something similar. We'll also work with your prefered printing solution, and if you don't have one, well then we'll help you with that bit too.
When it comes to print, there's no real reason why you shouldn't stand out from the crowd. Having your promotion or advertising professionally designed is a great investment, and will really give you that edge.
The other reality is there's no end to what you could use in this respect. We've worked with brochures and flyers, but have also worked to design for handouts, price lists, and other media such as gazebos, flags, large scale point of sale; in fact, anything that you can brand. We're always here to ask about what works, and what doesn't, and can work with either your established print supplier or can support you in finding one.
Everything is possible.
With many of our clients, we've updated their websites, or have created printed media using their existing logos and branding. But what if you don't have that? What if you've literally just a killer idea, or a new venture that you'd like to promote.
You know that's fine too, right?
You see, when you start a business from scratch all of a sudden you realise how much there is to be done. You might have an idea for the business name, and nothing else. Sometimes you don't even have that. We can help with all of it. With our branding package, we'll work with you to create the name of your business, strap lines, and create a logo with you (see below for more about that). We'll also work with you to create everything you need.
And trust us when we say often you'll need quite a few things. Well, what do you get in this package? Let's have a look:

To be honest, the whole shebang. The face of your business is so important that it's only right that it gets initial investment. When you've got a look that you can be proud of, you'll be ready to take over the world.
Of course, like everything else that we've mentioned you could always do it yourself; there are lots of companies saying 'You can register a domain name for £3.99' or 'professional logo design for just £5.99' (etc etc). However, ou should be spending your time focusing on your new venture, as opposed to worrying how to create an email signature.

Despite the fact we built our first website in 1996 (and it's actually still online) we've spent the majority of our time working in business, at a senior operations level in several global market leaders. So, we know how to run a business.
And that's kinda the point, and it's what gives us the edge when we're doing the designing stuff, as we ask the right questions about purpose, intention, and commercial / marketing value.
Often, designers will just draw something pretty that they think is going to work, and then go back to their iMac and their soya latte and that's the end of it. However, due to the depth and detail we go into with our clients it comes up that they'd like some additional support. This isn't just the clients who are starting out; often those who are most experienced who need support, and who better to turn to than someone they've already spent time with discussing their business.
